Frequently asked questions
Ask us anything. Here's a head start.
The questions clients actually ask, answered the way we'd answer them on a call. If yours isn't here, WhatsApp us — a real person replies.
Working with us
Where is my website hosted, and who owns it?
Your site runs on reputable cloud platforms — typically Vercel, with your domain and DNS at a registrar account in your name. You own your domain, your content, and the code we write for you. If you ever leave us, we hand over full access to everything and help you or your next developer take over; nothing is held hostage.
Do you work with clients outside India?
Yes — we are remote-first and work with clients worldwide. We are based in Hyderabad, India (IST, UTC+5:30), which overlaps mornings in Europe and evenings in the US and Australia. All work happens over video calls, WhatsApp or email, with shared documents and staging links, so you always see progress without needing to be in the same city.
How do payments work?
Projects are milestone-based: typically 40% to start, 40% at the first working version, and 20% at launch. Care plans and retainers are billed monthly. Indian clients can pay by UPI or bank transfer; international clients by card, Wise or PayPal. You get a proper invoice for every payment.
Am I locked in after launch?
No. The monthly care plan is month-to-month and you can cancel any time. If you leave, we hand over your domain, code, content and hosting access in working order — you can move to any developer or platform. We would rather keep clients because the service is good than because leaving is hard.
How soon can we start?
Book a discovery call and we can usually speak within a couple of days. If we are a good fit, most projects kick off within one to two weeks of the call — sooner for small sites.
Do you have a referral programme?
Yes. Introduce a business that needs a website, app or AI automation, and if they become a client you earn 10% of the project value when the project completes and is paid for. No sign-up needed — just make the introduction over WhatsApp or email and tell us it came from you. Details on the Refer & Earn page.
Websites & hosting
How long does a website take to build?
A landing page takes one to two weeks. A typical 5–10 page business site takes two to four weeks, most of which is getting the content and copy right — the build itself is fast. Custom work like e-commerce or booking runs four to eight weeks. The most common delay is waiting on content from the client, so we help you write it.
What do you build websites with, and why should I care?
We build on Next.js and deploy to Vercel. In practice that means your site loads fast on cheap phones and slow connections, there are no plugins to update or hack, and every page is real HTML that Google and AI search tools can read. It is the same stack used by large product companies, applied to business sites.
Do I have to take the monthly care plan?
No. If you have your own developer or want to self-manage, we hand over the code and hosting access at launch and show you the basics. The care plan exists because most business owners do not want to think about domains, SSL, backups or updates — for a modest monthly fee, we carry that instead.
Can you rebuild or migrate my existing WordPress site?
Yes — this is common. We rebuild the site on Next.js, migrate your content, and set up redirects from every old URL so you keep your Google rankings. Most clients see faster load times immediately and stop paying for plugin licences and maintenance surprises.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site we ship has the technical foundations done properly: clean HTML, per-page titles and descriptions, structured data, a sitemap, and fast load times. That makes you eligible to rank — actual position depends on competition and the usefulness of your content, and anyone who guarantees a #1 spot is not being honest with you. We will tell you what is realistic for your market on the discovery call.
Can I update the content myself?
For most sites, the care plan covers changes — you message us on WhatsApp and it is usually done within a couple of working days. If you genuinely need self-serve editing (say, a price list that changes weekly), we can wire up a lightweight editor for the sections you edit often, as a scoped add-on.
Mobile apps
Do you build for iOS, Android, or both?
Both, from one codebase, using cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter. For most business apps this halves the cost versus building two native apps, with no difference your users would notice. We recommend fully native builds only when an app genuinely needs them — heavy graphics, unusual hardware access — and we will tell you if yours does.
Why do app quotes vary so much between agencies?
Because 'an app' can mean anything from a simple catalogue to a two-sided marketplace. The honest way to compare quotes is by scope: how many screens, which integrations, whether it needs accounts, payments, notifications or offline support. Our pricing guide breaks down what moves the number, so you can sanity-check any quote — including ours.
Do you handle publishing to the App Store and Play Store?
Yes — we handle the whole submission: store listings, screenshots, review requirements, and the back-and-forth if Apple or Google push back. The developer accounts are created in your name, so you own your store presence from day one.
Who owns the app's code?
You do. The code lives in a repository you have access to throughout the project, and full ownership transfers to you on final payment. There are no licence fees back to us and no proprietary platform you are stuck on.
What happens after the app launches?
Apps need ongoing care: iOS and Android updates, store policy changes, and small fixes as real users find edge cases. Budget roughly 15–20% of the build cost per year, or take a monthly retainer where we keep the app healthy and ship small improvements. We will not disappear after launch — but we also will not bill you for support you do not need.
AI automation
Will an AI chatbot actually answer correctly about my business?
Yes, if it is built properly. We ground the bot in your real content — your site, documents, price lists, policies — so it answers from your material rather than making things up. It is tested against real customer questions before launch, and when it is not confident, it says so and hands over to a human on WhatsApp or email instead of guessing.
Which AI models do you use?
We pick per task — typically Claude or GPT-class models, balancing quality against running cost. Your integration is built so the underlying model can be swapped as better or cheaper options appear, without rebuilding anything. You are never locked to one vendor's pricing.
What does an automation project look like at the start?
We start with one workflow, not a grand AI strategy. On the discovery call we find a task that eats hours every week — answering the same enquiries, preparing quotes, copying data between tools — and scope an automation around it. You see the time saved within weeks, then decide whether to automate the next thing.
Is my business data safe? Will it be used to train AI models?
We use commercial AI APIs whose business terms do not train on your data — this is standard for the paid tiers of Anthropic and OpenAI, and we put it in writing in our agreement. Your documents stay in your own storage, we access only what the automation needs, and we can add masking for sensitive fields like customer contact details.
What are the ongoing costs of an AI system?
Two parts: model API usage (you pay per conversation or document processed) and hosting. For a typical small-business chatbot that is roughly ₹500 – ₹5,000 per month depending on volume, billed at cost. We set a monthly cap so a busy month never produces a surprise bill.
Pricing & payments
Why do you publish prices when most agencies don't?
Because 'contact us for pricing' wastes everyone's time. Ranges let you self-qualify before we ever speak: if your budget and our numbers are far apart, you find out in two minutes, not two meetings. The ranges here are what we actually quote — not bait.
Are these fixed quotes?
They are honest ranges, not quotes. After a discovery call we send a fixed-price proposal for a defined scope — so the number you sign is the number you pay. If scope changes mid-project, we price the change before doing the work, never after.
Do prices include GST?
Figures shown are exclusive of tax. For clients in India, 18% GST applies and you get a GST invoice. For international clients, no Indian GST is charged — you pay the invoice amount.
What if my budget is below these ranges?
Tell us the number on the call. Often we can phase the work — launch a smaller version now that covers the essentials, and add the rest when it is earning its keep. What we will not do is quote low and make it up in change requests later.
Still have a question?
Send it over on WhatsApp or book a discovery call — thirty minutes, free, and you'll get straight answers either way.
